This page explains how the Dockside Skylights Liverpool website uses cookies and similar technologies, as required by the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 (PECR) and UK data protection law. The short version: if you are visiting the site to read about rooflights and skylights or to send us an enquiry, our site sets no cookies on your device.

What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website stores on your device. Some are strictly necessary for a site to work, such as keeping you logged in. Others are used to measure visits, remember preferences or track you for advertising. Under PECR, a site must ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary.

Cookies we set for visitors

None. Browsing our pages, reading our guides, using the map and sending the enquiry form do not cause this website to set cookies on your device. Because of that, you will not see a cookie consent banner here.

We do not currently use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies. If we add website analytics or any other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this page first and ask for your consent before any of them are set.

Cookies for site administrators only

The website runs on WordPress. When someone who manages the site logs in to its admin area, WordPress sets the cookies below. They are strictly necessary for logging in and are never set for ordinary visitors.

WordPress cookies set only for logged-in administrators

Other services on the site

The enquiry form

Mortaro CRM supplies the enquiry form, which appears inside a frame on the page. It is there to send your enquiry to us. We do not use it for advertising or for tracking you across other websites. How Mortaro CRM handles the details you type is explained in our privacy policy.

The map

The service area map is drawn by code hosted on our own site, using map tiles from OpenStreetMap. Loading the tiles sends a request to OpenStreetMap's servers, which see your IP address in order to deliver the images. OpenStreetMap map tiles set no tracking cookies.

WhatsApp

The WhatsApp button opens a short panel on our own page where you can type a message. Nothing from WhatsApp loads on our pages until you choose to send it on. When you do, you leave our site for WhatsApp or its app, and WhatsApp's own cookie and privacy policies apply from then on.

How to control cookies

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time. Each browser explains how in its help pages. Blocking cookies will not affect how this site works for visitors, because it does not rely on any. Administrators who block cookies will not be able to log in.
